How we rank — and what our scores mean
Independent, evidence-based, and honest about its limits.
What we do
NocodePicks compares AI app builders on what decides whether you can actually ship: what the tool builds, whether it deploys, what it costs, how you get your code out, and where real users hit walls. Every page is built from primary sources we link and date (the vendor's own pricing and docs) and from real, attributed user reports on Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, GitHub, and official forums.
What we do not do (yet)
We are upfront: we do not currently publish a hands-on lab benchmark running the same build brief through each tool. Verdicts are based on documented capabilities and aggregated real-user evidence, not a private test we ran. If we publish a reproducible build test, every result will carry a dated screenshot and a link you can open and verify.
How we score
Verdicts weigh whether it builds a working, deployable app; data and auth; code export; true cost once credits and add-ons are counted; and the failure modes real users describe. We name trade-offs rather than crowning one winner — the right pick depends on your job.
How we make money
Some links are affiliate links: sign up through them and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes a ranking — no paid placements, and tools with no program (e.g. Bolt) are covered on the same terms. See our full disclosure.
